Miguel is an excellent realtor. He represented us on the sale and subsequent purchase of our new home. He was always available to talk and is very knowledgeable about the Northern Virginia housing market.
On the sale side, he gave us excellent guidance as to repairs and improvements that's could help us sell our house sooner. His aesthetic sensibilities were vital in getting our house ready to sell. That ultimately helped us get an offer relatively quickly.
On the buy side, he was readily available to show us the houses we were interested in, in a timely manner. His negotiating was crucial to get us seller concessions and to lower our cash to close. Furthermore he fought for us to get vital repairs done by the seller prior to closing.
His ferocity and commitment to us is truly appreciated.

My husband and I were "for sale by owners" with only a limited broker. We met Miguel as he was the buyers agent. Rarely does a realtor care about the opposite side ...the sellers, but Miguel truly did. He was so incredibly helpful with the selling of our home even though he was not representing us. He is honest, hands-on and always accessible. He did not have to give advice, but was always there to answer questions and even provided us with contacts as well as looking out for our best interest and making sure we were not spending money that we didn't need to. He is a professional in every sense of the word and a genuinely nice guy. We cannot speak highly enough of Miguel. He goes above and beyond and took extra steps many other Realtors dont (but should do). The level of service he provides is phenomenal. We consider Miguel a friend and would highly recommend him to anyone that is searching for a new home or selling their current home. Thanks again Miguel for being such a pleasure to work with.

Northern Virginia Housing Inventory Grows, Led by Condos and Attached Homes
As someone who’s spent over two decades keeping a close eye on Northern Virginia’s housing trends, I’m always interested when I see shifts like this: active listings across our region are up 19.6%, thanks mainly to a surge in condos and attached homes hitting the market—even as detached home inventory dipped. With months of supply now at 2.13 and the average home spending about 21 days on the market, it’s clear buyers have a bit more breathing room, while sellers may want to pay close attention to how their property stands out. The median price has edged down to $750,000, which is a subtle but meaningful change. Whether you’re considering your first condo in Arlington or prepping your Falls Church townhouse for sale, understanding these nuances can make all the difference. My goal remains to empower you with the insights and guidance you need to navigate every corner of our local market with confidence.

The Rich Have Flooded Northern Virginia's Luxury Suburbs as D.C. Declines
Northern Virginia’s luxury home market is in the spotlight, with an impressive 83% surge in high-end sales—an unmistakable shift that speaks to the region’s growing appeal. Many of my clients are drawn here by the area’s lower taxes, spacious homes, and diverse property options, especially when compared to neighboring D.C. and Maryland, where luxury sales have dipped. Homes priced at $3M and above rose 16% across the region, and even ultra-luxury properties above $8M saw a modest uptick. After more than two decades guiding clients through Fairfax, Loudoun, Arlington, Alexandria, and beyond, I’ve seen firsthand how Northern Virginia’s unique blend of lifestyle, value, and opportunity continues to attract discerning buyers. Whether seeking elegance, space, or investment potential, this market is delivering on all fronts.
